Welcome back to the next lesson of Marketing Basics 101. Essentially, my number one goal of this tutorial is to show you the simple basics of how we are actually going to get people to buy your products. So, if we have a look here, I’ve got two models I want to walk through that are really basic and simple.
So, firstly, we’ve got a four-step process of how we actually get people to go from your website to buy your microgreens and then from you to grow your order and then actually delivering. Now, what’s really important to understand with this model is you actually need people to get to your website so that they can buy the microgreens and then you can grow the order and then deliver. Right? Because we’re in reality, you could have the best microgreens in the world, but if no one actually buys them, how are you going to grow your business? Right? Just like if you had the best marketing in the world and your product is not very good, you’re not going to get customers wanting to come back again. So, it’s really important that you have great products and good microgreens that have been grown and you match that with great marketing that we’re going to be teaching you.
Now, how do you actually get more people to go to your website? So, right here, I’ve got a few different avenues and traffic sources of how people are going to go to your website. And we’re going to start at the top here. So, everybody has their personal Facebook profile. If you don’t, we’re going to show you how to do that in the next few videos. Now, essentially, you can post on your Facebook profile so that people in your local area will know about your business, your microgreens business and actually go to your website and then hopefully buy your product. Now, a big part of this course is going to be teaching you about Facebook advertising, really simple tutorials of how to use that to your advantage in your local area so that you can get more customers.
We’re also going to be talking to you about Facebook Groups, how that you could find Facebook Groups in your local area and post in them and actually get more people to go to your website and then buy. And inevitably, these avenues: your Facebook profile, your advertising with these Facebook Groups will lead to more word of mouth. You’ve got more customers, they’re going to be telling their friends, their family about it and then they’re going to buy from your business and go to your website, and then that’s going to lead to more people searching for your business.
And maybe you’ve got an Instagram page where you’re posting about your farm, you’ve got customers that are actually tagging your products or tagging your business in photos, and that’s going to drive more people to your website, and there’s obviously more other traffic sources as well. The whole goal of what I’m trying to show you here is what we want to do is get people to come to our website from as many different ways as possible because once they do, that is what’s going to allow us to get people to buy the microgreens and then for you to grow to order and then actually deliver and then actually build and grow your microgreens business. So, that’s the end of this tutorial and I look forward to seeing you in the next one.
